speckled candle / incense holder

£24.00

Light up your dinner table with a candlestick or elevate your morning yoga with some burning incense in this minimalist holder inspired by water ripples and Scottish cup-and-ring stone carvings.

These holders are designed to hold both candlesticks and incense to save space whilst keeping your home looking chic.

these holders are part of ‘the speckled collection’

A shattered rainbow effect where no two vessels are the same.

This collection has been developed as a possible solution to more sustainable studio practice.

Ceramics can be a very energy and material consuming practice and so it is important for the rubber glove studio to reduce this where we can and find new ways of developing more sustainable works.

This collection re-uses waste and test glazes by transforming them into speckles that can be added to simple base glaze recipes. No two speckled mixes are the same and as such, each new batch acts as a time capsule of the studio’s waste at that point in time.

holders sold individually

please note: speckled design is unpredictable and so variations in colour and speckle dispersion will vary from pot to pot - but that’s part of what makes this collection so unique!
